The Texas VFW has launched Operation Therapeutic Freedom to protect veterans' access to legal hemp products on which thousands of veterans rely to manage service-connected conditions. Senate Bill 3 threatens to ban these federally legal products that have helped countless Texas veterans reduce or eliminate prescription medications, manage PTSD symptoms, and return to being productive members of their families and communities. We support reasonable regulations that protect youth while preserving veterans' freedom to make their own healthcare choices.
