Improve Veteran Health
Expand education on physical health, mental wellness, suicide prevention, women's health, caregiver resources, and healthy aging.
Build Strong Partnerships
Strengthen relationships with the VA, healthcare systems, nonprofits, and community organizations to increase resources available to Veterans.
Support All Surgeons at Every Level
Provide practical tools, training, and ideas that help our surgeons at every level make an immediate impact.
Grow Volunteer Service
Increase participation in VAVS programs and recognize the incredible volunteers serving Veterans nationwide.
Advocate for Every Veteran
Ensure Veterans and their families know about the benefits, services, and healthcare they have earned through their service.

Join the VFW by meeting two requirements: honorable service in the U.S. Armed Forces and participation in operations on foreign soil or hostile waters. Eligibility can be verified through campaign medals, Hostile Fire Pay, or service in Korea. For family members of eligible veterans, the VFW Auxiliary provides a membership option.
